Summer School

Welcome to the 2020 Distance Learning Summer School Program of the Greenwich Public Schools. Due to the impact of COVID-19 on our district’s education, this year’s Summer School program will be offered via distance learning, and focus solely on literacy and numeracy skills for our elementary level students, and advancement courses and credit recovery courses for our secondary level students.

Our rigorous and engaging Distance Learning academic programs for Pre-K, Elementary and Secondary school students will help your child to develop their academic skills, and for those students needing the extra credits, or advancement for the upcoming Fall Semester.

Maya Angelou once said “I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better.” So, if your child needs to “know better” then help them do better. Enroll them in the GPS 2020 Summer School Program.

Links for the Registration of your student will be organized in the following 5 areas:

Preschool ESY Students:

Elementary School Students:

  • Students in grades K-5 have received letters (from your child's administration) inviting them to register for Distance Learning Literacy, and Numeracy. Because this summer will be all distance learning, the focus is on those students who require additional opportunities. At this time, we cannot open registration to all students.
