Welcome to the math program page!
The Greenwich Public Schools Mathematics Program is aligned with the Connecticut Core Standards for Mathematics and is committed to providing all students with a high-quality, comprehensive and challenging program. The program provides consistent opportunities for students to develop the knowledge, skills and capacities necessary to be college and career ready. The guiding principle that drives the mathematics program is that every student will access a high-quality, comprehensive, and challenging program.
Reaffirming the U.S. Department of Education’s position, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in the Greenwich Public Schools recognizes that student success is driven not only by what you know, but by what you can do with what you know, and that it’s more important than ever for our youth to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sense of information. Thus, STEM education for all students is fundamental for college and career readiness and to develop as productive members of society.
