The school’s population includes approximately 330 students with 18 classroom teachers. Julian Curtiss became Greenwich’s third magnet school in 2003. The school is the only magnet school offering students in grades K-5 the opportunity to study either French or Spanish. Centrally located in Greenwich, Julian Curtiss is a neighborhood school with a family-like atmosphere. The school has a cross section of socio-economic groups and is international in character. Julian Curtiss’ students and their parents come from 60 countries around the world and speak 30 languages.
The Julian Curtiss School works in partnership with our children, their families, and the community to provide a quality education that has high expectations for student success and excellence. Our dedicated staff work to build and strengthen students’ self-esteem and our PTA sponsors a variety of special events and programs throughout the school year.
