The enthusiasm for and commitment to the HAS PTA continues!

The main function of the PTA is to connect families and facilitate parental participation within our school.

The PTA is a not for profit volunteer organization (non profit) that is committed to the well-being and educational success of its students through strong parent, family, and community involvement.

We believe our responsibility includes advocating for the enrichment, safety and welfare and the opportunity for a quality public education for each and every child at Hamilton Avenue School.

Some PTA activities do not cost anything except volunteer hours, for example, providing volunteers to help the HAS office staff check in tardy students by providing late passes. Another example maybe to deliver forgotten items to a student's classroom, such as an instrument, homework or lunch. While this seems like something small to many of us, it's actually a big help and ensures your child has that forgotten items before they even realize they are not there.

Volunteers are essential to the PTA without them the PTA cannot do its work. Volunteers are always very much appreciated for their time and dedication.
