The Library Media Center provides a quiet space for students to complete work.

During the day, students can work in small groups at the white tables in the front of the library or individually in the silent study carrels.

Because of the number of students in the library during lunch block, we will be QUIET STUDY ONLY.   Students may only whisper to each other during this time.

Students who are loud or disruptive will be asked to return to the Student Center.

Junior Book Awards

The Junior Book Awards program was established by the GHS Media Department in 1968 to honor GHS Juniors who are not only scholars and leaders but most importantly, have a great love of reading. Students are selected by the English, Social Studies, Business and Guidance Departments in a careful process. The Junior Book Awards Ceremony is held every May in the Media Center.
