Junior Book Awards

The Junior Book Awards program was established by the GHS Media Department in 1968 to honor GHS Juniors who are not only scholars and leaders but most importantly, have a great love of reading. Students are selected by the English, Social Studies, Business and Guidance Departments in a careful process. The Junior Book Awards Ceremony is held every May in the Media Center except for in 2020, when the honorees were memorialized in video.
