Parent Events

We strive to provide exceptional resources to our families and continuously engage our families with relevant information to enhance parenting skills.

We host Parent Presentations with guest speakers providing insight and information on topics important to our community. Our CoffeeTalks present parents with a guest speaker in a more casual setting where parents can interact and share information. Our BookTalks are a parent club where parents can connect with other parents in a relaxed, supportive environment to hear and discuss ideas related to parenting. And join us at one of our Parent Social Events where you can meet and mingle with other EMS parents.

Michael Fowlin

Join us for a parent presentation by Michael Fowlin

"You Don't Know Me Until You Know Me"
Tuesday, February 27th
7:00-8:30pm in the EMS Auditorium.

Dr Michael Fowlin gives an extraordinary memorable performance to our students. His one-man show takes the audience through the lives of various characters who each have their own skills and challenges.

A talented theatrical performer with a doctorate in clinical psychology, Dr Fowlin uses many of his gifts - humor, performance art, poetry, storytelling, psychology, theatrical homologue, and his personal story - to create a moving experience for all. Dr Fowlin's mission is to create an atmosphere of worldwide inclusion, not just tolerance, towards all people.

As part of our curriculum enrichment program, Dr. Fowlin will present this important message to the 7th grade students on Wednesday February 28th, and continue the message to the 8th grade students in his follow-up performance, "I Am Not The Enemy".
