Hazard Communication Program
The Town of Greenwich is committed to preventing accidents and ensuring the safety and health of our employees. We will comply all applicable federal and state healthy and safety rules. Under this program, employees are informed of the contents of the OSHA 1910.1200 Hazard Communications Standard (HazComm), the hazardous properties of chemicals with which they work, safe handling procedures and measures to take to protect themselves from these chemicals. These chemicals may be physical or health-related. A hard copy of the written communication plan is available at each school. It is also posted on the Town's T-Drive.

Radon Testing Notification - December 2024
The Greenwich Public Schools administration would like to notify you that radon testing will be conducted between Monday 13 January 2025 and Friday 31 January 2025. According to Connecticut General Statute Sec. 10-220(d)(2), all public schools must inspect and evaluate the indoor air quality in school buildings every three years. This required inspection and re-evaluation of indoor air quality includes evaluation of radon gas.
The purpose of the re-evaluation of indoor air quality is to determine if air quality has changed in the past three years.
