New Lebanon School Building Project

This intra-district elementary International Baccalaureate magnet school serves students in preschool – grade 5.  The centrally located learning commons, equipped with flexible furnishings & adaptable technological infrastructure, allows for multiple zones of simultaneous learning.  The building is designed to meet the sustainability goals established by the Educational Specifications and to achieve a gold-level LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating from US Green Building Council. 

The new building successfully opened for students on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.

The New Lebanon School Building Committee

The New Lebanon School Building Committee (NLSBC) was formed on June 18, 2015 and tasked with supervising all aspects of the project consistent with the educational specifications approved by the Board of Education.
