PTAC Council meets once a month during the school year, generally on the first Friday of the month. Meetings are usually held at Town Hall unless otherwise noted. Generally, the meeting will follow the timetable below:

- 10:00 - 11:00 am: Business Meeting
Attendees limited to PTA Presidents, PTAC Executive Board Members, PTAC Committee Chairs and Ex Officio Members.
- 11:00 - 11:45 am: Public Presentation
Attendees to include the above as well as PTAC Committee Members, PTA Members, Members of the BoE and the General Public.

Parents learned about the digital resources students are using in their sciences and classrooms, specifically, the tools used to support the collection, analysis and interpretation of scientific data. In addition, parents will gain a better understand about what their child will learn during each grade band - Grades K - 2, 3 - 5 and 6 - 8. Parents will be taken on a tour of both TUVA, a digital platform used in Grades 3 - 8 and Explore Learning's Gizmo platform used by Grades 6 - 12.

Participants in this workshop series will gain a further understanding of the underpinnings of the Collaborative & Practical Solutions (CPS) model, its refinements over the past 8-10 years, and practical assessment and intervention tools that can be brought back to and used in these diverse settings.
Dr. Greene is the originator of the model of care described in his books, now called Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS). Dr. Greene was on the faculty at Harvard Medical School for over 20 years, and is now founding director of the non-profit Lives in the Balance, which provides a vast array of free, web-based resources on the CPS model. His books include Raising Human Beings, The Explosive Child, Lost at School, and Lost and Found. He has appeared in a wide range of media, including The Oprah Show, Good Morning America, The Morning Show, National Public Radio, Mother Jones magazine, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, and the Boston Globe. Dr. Greene lectures and consults widely throughout the world and lives in Portland, Maine.

Becky Rabassa - Executive Director, Links Academy (linksacademy.org) in Stamford - will talk about EF skills related to elementary aged children, and what parents can do at home to help kids be more organized and improve their EF skills. Kevin Avery - CMS AVID math teacher who has created an EF program which was rolled out to all the CMS 6th graders this year. Frank Kovac - GHS Social Studies AVID teacher - EF skills at the high school level.
