Accessing Virtual BOE Meetings
In accordance with State of Connecticut Executive Order 7b (March 14, 2020), public Board of Education meetings will be held virtually through Zoom teleconference.
Members of the public can address the Board in real time by submitting the Public Comment Speaker Form prior to 12 noon the day of the meeting.
Please be advised that the Board will be taking one hour of public comment during the public hearing portion at the start of business meetings, with additional time allotted for public comment following the completion of the business agenda. Speakers will be recognized in the order they signed-up. Each speaker will be allotted three minutes and a timer will appear on the screen.
Members of the public may also submit public comments via the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org, beginning at the time of the posting of the public notice of a meeting and ending at the scheduled start time of said meeting. These comments will be included in the public record for that meeting and posted as a meeting document on the GPS e-governance website. Members of the public are encouraged to send their thoughts and opinions to the Board at any time, but only those received during the public comment submission window will be included in the public record of a Board of Education meeting.
Below, please find options and instructions on how to access Board of Education virtual meetings. A recording of Board meetings are made available within seven (7) days on the Board of Education YouTube Channel, on the primary Board of Education page, and on the GPS E-Governance Platform.
Any member of the public can join the January 21, 2021 meeting at the designated start time using the meeting specific Zoom link (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81101043280) OR by dialing 646-558-8656 and entering the meeting specific Meeting ID: (811 0104 3280).
