Board of Education

The Board of Education is the governing body of the District, and shall govern the District in such a manner that it sets the national standard for governance, oversight, public engagement and stewardship of the public education system. The Board of Education consists of eight elected members serving four year terms, with four members elected every two years.

April 2, 2020 BOE Meeting - CANCELED

The April 2, 2020 BOE Professional Development Meeting has been canceled.

Information and guidance on how to access the any future virtual Board of Education meetings is available on the Virtual Meetings page.

Meeting Agendas, in addition to relevant Board of Education documents, are posted at GreenwichSchools.org/BoardDocs.  Any public comments including materials or exhibits relevant to matters on the Agenda shall be submitted to the following email address: boardofedmembers@greenwich.k12.ct.us at a minimum of twenty four (24) hours prior to the meeting, and will be posted on the GPS e-governance website (GreenwichSchools.org/BoardDocs). NOTE: Please reference the specific meeting you would like the comments to be added to in either the subject line or in the body of the email.
