November 16 - CARE FOR SELF AND OTHERS

Teamwork Makes The Dream Work – Wear Red

Promoting gratitude, mindful living and effective stress management skills.

Students will take this opportunity to:
● Participate in team building activities to form relationship skills
● Work cooperatively with others to accomplish a common goal
● Practice communicating clearly and listening to others

JANUARY 11 - LET GO AND MOVE ON

Just Keep Swimming– Wear Blue

Promoting growth mindset and the ability to make a mistake and move on.

Students will take this opportunity to:
● Learn that it’s okay to make mistakes
● Learn to not give up on themselves or others when they make a mistake
● Develop a growth mindset

MARCH 8 - BE HONEST

Have a Voice - Wear White

Promoting assertiveness, self-advocacy, and expressing how you feel in a given situation.

Students will take this opportunity to:
● Practice assertive communication skills with peers and adults.
● Discuss their strengths and weaknesses.
● Give their feelings a voice

May 3 - BE SAFE

Be Responsible - Wear Green

Promoting responsibility toward self, others and the environment by identifying daily ways to engage in safe, respectful and caring actions.

● Learn the value of respect and responsibility
● Practice ways to show appreciation for those who insure our safety
● Learn ways to show respect toward peers, school and the environment

SEPTEMBER 29 - BE HERE

Be Here BE Your BESTWear Purple or Yellow

Promoting self-motivation and setting goals for learning this school year.

Students will take this opportunity to:
● Reflect on their strengths and areas they want to improve
● Learn about a growth mindset
● Set goals for the year
