PTA Council

The Greenwich PTA Council mission is to advocate on the behalf of all the students within the Greenwich Public School system.  For the 2009-2010 school year, its primary focus will be on the advocacy and support of three key areas.

Vision of the Graduate:

Promote and work towards ensuring adequate funding for the delivery of challenging, high quality education that meets the academic, social and emotional needs of every student in order to fulfill the GPS' “Vision of the Graduate”.

Communication:

Advocate and facilitate improved dialogue among all stakeholders and constituents, including but not limited to individual schools and their PTA organizations, the Board of Education, the Town Administration, and elected officials.

Facilities, Infrastructure and Safety:

Support the continual improvement and refurbishment of our schools, and other related logistics programs, to ensure that a world-class education is provided in appropriate, safe and technologically advanced environments.
