      Maximizing Students' Access to Their Own Potential -  March 27, 11 am -12:30 pm Cone Room, Town Hall
      Does your child struggle with homework and independent work at school?  Do you find it hard to keep them motivated and to complete tasks?  The PTA Council Twice Exceptional (2E) Committee in partnership with CT Association for the Gifted (CAG) will host Amy H. Gaesser, MS Ed, NYSSC, NCC.  Amy will present "Maximizing Students' Access to Their Own Potential" which will discuss Executive Function challenges with twice-exceptional students and the impact of stress on cognitive function.  
      The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 27th from 11 - 12:30 p.m. in the Cone Room (2nd floor), Town Hall.  Please contact the Chairs, Katie Yu (kathleenyu123@gmail.com) or Lydia Rouzeau (lydiarouzeau@yahoo.com), with any questions.

    • Earth Day Event - Greenwich Point 12:30 PM to 3:00 PMApril 7, 12:30 - 3 pm -- PTAC Green Schools sponsored Earth Day Event - Greenwich Point 
      We hope you will join us at the Greenwich Point for: the First Selectman's Earth Day Proclamation, launch of the Junior Ranger Program and Outdoor Challenge 2013, and Greenwich Point Clean-up You can chose to join a community clean-up or simply visit sites where environmental representatives (Conservation Commission, Greenwich Green & Clean, The Bruce Museum, Shellfish Commission, Friends of Greenwich Point, Soundwaters and the Audubon) will be on hand to work with and/or share their knowledge of the beach environment.  Programs begin at 12:30 PM at the Innis Arden Cottage and Floren Environmental Education Center, rain or shine.
