Student Council
About Student Council: The Student Service Council is a great way to help the community and make our school a better and more fun place to be.
Student
Representatives and their alternates from grades 1-5 hold Student
Council meetings each month. Durring the meetings they plan school
spirit days, service projects, and vote on topics of interest to the
school. School spirit days are fun days for the students like
Backwards Day or Sports Day. Service projects help the community and
may include food drives, clothing drives, and visiting the local
nursing home.
In addition to the regular meetings the Student
Council holds committee meetings to work on our projects. The project
committee is chosen at the regular meeting. At committee meetings they
either make posters for the next school spirit day or service project,
or plan for the day.
