The PTA has had a busy and exciting year, welcoming many new families, teachers and a new principal to Riverside School.  We have enjoyed our wonderful progressive dinner, hosted by a handful of super-dedicated parents, danced at our boo bash, sang along at our holiday sing and watched our veterans be honored in our Veteran’s day celebration.  While we have enjoyed the many social and fun events, the main focus of PTA efforts has been enriching the curriculum for our children.   The PTA dollars, that you have generously donated, have been put to great use through our many arts and science programs.  These programs which include such things as  authors’  visits,  play in a day,  power of light and animal embassy help to supplement our school curriculum.   

Finally, as we start to look past the current school year, we ask that each of you consider volunteering in some capacity to help ensure that we are able to continue to offer these wonderful programs for our children next year.
