About Us

School Hours: Grades K-5 attend school from 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Students are to  be in their homeroom immediately following First Bell at 8:30 a.m. Academic work will begin promptly at 8:45 a.m. and students arriving after 8:45 a.m. are considered tardy. Parents should not send children  to school early because adult supervision on school grounds, including the playground is not available before 8:25 a.m. 

Child Check: 637-0150
When a child is absent from school, the parent must call the OGS CHILD CHECK LINE at 637-0150. You may call and leave a message on this line at any time between 4pm the day before the absence and 9am the morning that your child will be absent. If you do not, a staff member or school volunteer will call you to verify the absence of your child between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m.

Early Release: Students are dismissed at 1:15 p.m. on Early Release Days unless otherwise noted. 

Office Hours: School office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Monday through Friday.
