Pesticide Applications at Schools

 ATHLETIC FIELD AND PLAYGROUND HERBICIDE APPLICATIONS

 The Department of Parks and Recreation hires a registered contractor with licensed personnel to apply an herbicide to athletic fields and playgrounds in early spring.  The fields will be closed for a minimum of 24 hours after application.  The product that is being used is Barricade.
