Attention all 8th graders: On June 11th the High School is offerring a Fall Sports Orientation from 2:45 - 3:45. If you plan on trying out for a Fall Sport you will need to sign up to attend. A bus will be provided that will take you from EMS to GHS and then back to EMS in time for the late bus. The sports are:
Cheerleading
Boys and Girl Cross Country
Dance Team
Field Hockey
Football
Boys and Girls Soccer
Girls Swimming and Diving
Girls Volleyball
Boys Water Polo
You need to pre-register in the gym so we can determine the number of busses needed. Any questions please see one of the gym teachers.

Attention all you artists and creative people out there!
The Eastern Middle School literary magazine, Fingerprints, needs a cover. Therefore we are announcing a contest to see who can design the best cover for our school's magazine. The winner of this contest will receive a prize, a gift certificate to a local book store. Your cover design must meet the following requirements:
- it must be on 8 1/2 by 11 inch unlined white paper
- it must be in black and white
- it must have the title of the magazine Fingerprints 2012-2013
displayed prominently
- it must have an awesome original image that reflects the theme
of creativity and writing
Please give your submissions to Mr. Reich in room 120 by Friday, 5/17.
