Holiday Gift Drive

The Student Council will be collecting new, unwrapped gifts for young adults who are away from their families and in foster care over the holidays this year.
Suggested items:
board games
sports equipment
gloves, hats & scarves
portable video games
nail polish or other make-up items
pencil cases or other fun school supplies
jewelry
DVDs
gift cards (iTunes)
'Tis the season for kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity! For every gift you donate, you get a raffle ticket for exciting prizes!

Thanksgiving Food Drive!
Wednesday 11/12 through Wednesday, 11/19
Help give a holiday meal to those who need it. There are two ways to contribute!
You can make a donation of non-perishable food items
(means it doesn't need to go in the refrigerator)
OR
You can donate your spare change in jars located in the main office, the media center, and the cafeterias
-- or you can do both!

Money collected in the spare change jars will be used to purchase turkeys and other perishable items.

The SCA raised $1,500 for the STRIKE 3 foundation!!!!!!!
We will present Craig Breslow with a check on November 21st. Craig will speak with students about his foundation during 2 assemblies.
The Eastern Environmental club had a good representation at the town wide clean-up with Greenwich Green and Clean.
Once again, through the Advisor Base program, Eastern students created Thanksgiving Day cards to be used as decorations at a local church on Thanksgiving Day. Dinner is served to those in need and our cards help add a festive, caring touch.
