Head Coach: Jeffrey Santilli

Coach Santilli enters his 14th season as head coach for the varisty golf team. Possessing a career FCIAC record of 224-33-3, Santilli has guided the varsity golf team and continued the tradition set forth before him. Graduating players such as David Pastore, UVA, Brian Czarnecki, Georgetown University, Peter Catanzaro, CCSU, Mike Yasek, JMU, Matt Czarnecki, Holy Cross and as well as numerous other players who have gone on to compete at the next level. A graduate of Central Connecticut State University where he earned a B.S. degree in Technology Education, Santilli made the move to lower Fairfield County and began his teaching career at Central Middle School where he currently teaches Technology Education.

During Coach Santill's time with Greenwich High, the varsity golf team has won the CIAC Division 1 State Championship: 2012, 2004 -- Runner-Up: 2011, 2008 -- FCIAC Championship: 2012, 2009, 2007, 2002, 2001 -- Runner-Up: 2011, 2010, 2008, 2006, 2000 -- FCIAC Division Titles: 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, 2002 -- Chappa Invitational: 2012(Stephen Pastore & Danny Guise), 2002 (Pete Catanzaro & Mike Yasek) and Holohan Invitational: 2012 (Chris Pavelic), 2004 (Matt Czarnecki).

Assistant Coach: John Czarnecki

Coach Czarnecki enters his 9th season as an assistant coach for the varisty golf team. Coach Czar works primarily with the JV players, preparing them for the varsity team. He has guided the JV team to a 87-6-3 record since 2005.

In addition to coaching golf, John coached basketball at GHS for nine years. He remains active in town- coaching youth basketball and golf. He lives in Greenwich with his wife Margie, and has two sons - Matt and Brian. He currently works for Gannett Newspapers.
