The Mathematics Department completed a comprehensive curriculum review during the 2012-13 school year, resulting in the curriculum documents you will find throughout this section of the web site. The new units of study aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Math in Focus resources to support the curriculum and a comprehensive staff development plan combine to form a rigorous program designed to enable every student to explore and apply Mathematics in real world scenarios.
The K-5 Mathematics curriculum was implemented in September, 2013. The Middle School Mathematics curriculum will be implemented in September, 2014, including redeveloped Math 6A, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Geometry courses.
