MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Greenwich High School is to educate all students to their highest level of academic potential and to teach them the skills and knowledge to become capable, creative and responsible members of society. To that end we provide all students with a challenging range of educational opportunities in a safe, supportive environment that fosters respect for self and others. A commitment to excellence, an active respect for personal diversity, and the responsible use of individual freedom are among our distinctive expectations for students and staff.

Asbestos
The State of Connecticut enacted legislation requiring all public buildings to be reevaluated to determine if asbestos is present and if it poses a significant health hazard to the building’s occupants. Greenwich Public School buildings haveon file plans showing the location of asbestos in each building and measures undertaken to comply with regulations to maintain a safe school environment. Requests to review these plans may be made in the school office. Asbestos Management Plans are updated every three years and more frequently as required, often as a result of capital projects.
