About Us

Eastern Middle School's daily announcements into advisor base ends with, "Be kind, be responsible, and be the best you can be.  The choice is yours."  This saying, introduced by our previous Principal, Ben Davenport, has become a tradition for Eastern Middle School's commitment to meet the district vision for academic excellence in public education.  In addition, announcements include a Character Quote of the Day -- taken from famous figures from our history books or our present-day society.  Students are introduced into the Middle School Philosophy which includes academic excellence, social responsibility and an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to learning and living.   This past year, Eastern proudly celebrated the 50th year of a long-time tradition for academic excellence.
