Note: In general we do not encourage elementary students to "google" for research assignments. We prefer that they use safe and recommended resources when doing research. However, if students do use a broad search engine such as Google, they should do so with parent supervision and using the methods we discuss in Media classes for evaluating reliability and appropriateness

PS: In academia, Wikipedia is still not considered a valid source, so we encourage to students to read through Wikipedia articles for an overview of their topic and then look for other resources to corroborate what they have learned.
