The Art Department at Greenwich High School inspires students to consider a range of possible solutions to a given topic. Below is an Example of an Art Project:

Challenge: Create a maquette for a monumental public sculpture for the front circle at GHS using the random pieces of wood provided and adhesive.

• What are the values of youth, education, and school spirit that you would like to portray to visitors on campus?
• What do you strive for during your four-year journey here?
• What ideas might represent the diversity of the student body?
• How would you convey these concepts in an abstract sculpture?
• What would it look like?
