Course Requests for 13-14 must be discussed with your school counselor prior to March 22nd. If you are a 9th, 10th, or 11th grader and haven't met with your school counselor yet, please do so immediately!
- We the People qualifiying test: Monday 3/4, Cantor 528, immediately after school. Any student who cannot make this date must contact Mr. Hull in advance and take the test on the previous Friday 3/1 immediately after school. Test aid text can be picked up from Mr. Hull's office in Cantor 535.
- A.P. EXAM REGISTRATION is complete, the last day was Friday 2/22
- SAT Preparation Classes are offered at GHS through Continuing Ed - registration deadline is March 1st.
- AP Exam Registration will take place at GHS from Thursday January 31st to Friday February 22nd during all lunches at the Student Center Security Desk. Cost is $89 per exam, checks payable to "GHS". Please list the tests in the "memo" portion of the check. No registrations will be accepted after Friday, February 22nd.
- The final Junior College Kick Off Meeting is being held Monday 1/14/13 at 7pm in the Auditorium. We strongly encourage all juniors and their parents to attend a Kick Off Meeting prior to making an appointment with their school counselor for an individual post-high school planning meeting.

- The second Financial Aid Workshop will be held Tuesday 1/15/13 at 7pm in the Media Center. Mr. Andrew Foster, college financial aid professional, will continue his informative presentation from December's meeting, and we will also host representatives from the Greenwich Scholarship Association and the Greenwich High School Student Loan Fund. All seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend this informative meeting.
- PSAT score reports are being distributed to Juniors individually through their school counselor. Juniors should either stop into their office or make an appointment to review their score report and discuss college admissions testing. Juniors who have not yet logged into their Naviance account should also take care of that task with their counselors.
- PSAT score reports are being distributed to Sophomores in their Sem Skills classes by the school counselors between now and mid-January. The sophomores will also be taught how to access their Naviance account, and sign into the College Board's QuickStart site, for college admissions test preparation and planning.
- The Guidance Department is pleased to bring the Greenwich High School Community its annual "College Panel" on Thursday October 25th at 7pm in the GHS Auditorium. Admissions professionals from Boston University, Columbia University, Hobart & William Smith Colleges, and Lynn University will speak to the audience and offer their expertise on a variety of college admissions topics.
- College Night at GHS is Thursday October 11th from 7pm to 9pm in the Student Center. - Juniors must pre-register for the PSAT given at GHS on Wednesday October 17th. Pre-registration takes place in the Main Office starting September 20th and ending October 5th. The registration fee is $20.00. Checks should be made out to “Greenwich High School”. Sophomores are automatically registered for this PSAT.
- All Seniors must attend one morning meeting (7:00-7:25) with their House Guidance Staff the week of September 10th. Seniors need to bring their “Common App” username and password.
