Second grade FLES parents.  Señorita Rivera and I (Sra. Murillo) have continued to discuss the places in a town as well as their location.

Students were also presented with a map of New England and practiced stating the names and the location of the state (north, south, east, west).  We will move from the state, to the town, to the house, to the family, to the celebrations according to our traditions, heritage and culture.  

Please, make sure you have discussions with your child about
these various topics. The more first hand experiences they have, the
easier it will be for your children to make connections to the world.
