New Student Registration

2024-2025 REGISTRATION WILL OPEN MARCH 2024!

Prior to enrolling at GHS, all new students and families must complete the GPS Registration Process.  GPS utilizes an online platform for intital registration for all students new to the District.

Once all of the required registration information and documentation is reviewed and approved by the District, families will be contacted by the GHS Registrar to have their student come to GHS to take placement tests.  These tests assess students in the areas of reading, writing, math, and world language.  After placement tests have been completed and reviewed, families will be contacted to make an appointment to meet the student's counselor and begin the process of course selection.

Please allow at least 5-10 business days to complete the registration process:

Key Dates:

  • Parents of incoming 9th grade students registered by April 1 will be invited to attend a House Orientation program in late April.
  • Students registered by May 15 will meet with their counselor to select courses prior to the end of the school year.
  • Students registered after May 15 will meet with their counselor to select courses the week prior to school starting.
  • Students registered by August 21 will be able to meet with their counselor, attend orientation (August 29), and start on the first day of school (August 30).
  • Students registered after August 21 are not guaranteed to be ready to start on the first day of school.
  • Schedules will be available one to two days prior to the start of school. Students will be notified by email when their schedules are ready to be viewed in Aspen.

A student is considered fully registered when ALL registration, residency, and health documents have been submitted and approved, and placement testing has been completed and reviewed.
