Community Service Awards

Beginning in 1986, each year Greenwich Public School students are honored for their participation in service activities that help to improve both the school and the community. Students are selected from each elementary school to accept the award on behalf of the entire school for service activities and projects that they have participated in throughout the year. Community Service Awards are presented to middle school students from each school as well as high school students from each GHS House. A sixth high school recipient is also selected to receive the Fleishman Award. Dr. Ernest Fleishman, a former Superintendent for Greenwich Public Schools, presents this award to a Greenwich High School student(s) who has made significant contributions to their school and community.
